All looks calm and still outside, if a little dank. But we are in the lee of Chalford Valley here. The Club webcam paints a more energetic picture; the weather station is showing gusts of up to 30mph.
Hopefully the worst of it will blow through for Saturday. Would prefer not to have to push down the Sharpness canal into the face of it, or get thrown around by it when trying to cross back to Lydney in the dark.
But hope it comes back for Sunday; I'll be safe back on the lake, racing, by the afternoon.
